Sarah Stewart
Minister
The Rev. Sarah C. Stewart (she/her) has been the Minister of First Unitarian Church since 2014. Her mission in ministry is to connect herself and others with the source of our being, so that we may lead lives of greater purpose and less anxiety. She enjoys weightlifting, knitting, playing games, and spending time with friends and family. She lives with her husband and two sons in Worcester.
Sarah has been a minister for 19 years, previously serving the Starr King Unitarian Universalist Fellowship in Plymouth, NH and as assistant minister at the First Parish in Lexington, MA. She was the presidential campaign manager for the current president of the Unitarian Universalist Association, the Rev. Susan Frederick-Gray. She received her M.Div. from Harvard Divinity School in 2001 and a Bachelor of Liberal Arts from Sarah Lawrence College in 1997.
