Spirituality & Religion in Human Flourishing

This 90-minute webinar will explore the ways spirituality and religion can foster fuller human flourishing in our world today. Led by the Rev. Dr. Kelly Murphy Mason, Co-Chair of the Spirituality & Flourishing Interest Group in the Harvard Flourishing Network, it will highlight the importance of communal worship, forgiveness practices, and an orientation toward gratitude in our religious lives. It will also introduce participants to the Harvard Flourishing Measure and its various uses.

The Rev. Dr. Kelly Murphy Mason, PsyD, LICSW, is a spiritual director, educator, psychotherapist, and writer who serves as Community Minister for Spiritual Direction at Arlington Street Church in Boston, MA. She also teaches in the apprenticeship program at the Phoenix Center for Spiritual Direction and works as a book reviewer for Presence, the quarterly journal of Spiritual Directors International. For more than a decade now, she has blogged at TheReverendDr.com on the topic of “what heals us in our souls”.
